The past two days have been filled with classes. We have lecture from 9am-11:45am when we break for lunch. After an hour lunch we resume at 12:45pm and go until 2:30ish. From then on we get free time to sightsee, do course readings or papers, or simply relax at the flats.
Today we have a guest lecture by Tom Dent, a former employee of the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). NICE is a regulatory body for the NHS in Britain. So far we've mostly been discussing principles of medical ethics and debating various ethical dilemmas.
Today after class, some classmates and I are going to The British Museum. I'll let you know how it goes!
