The History of Medicine

On Thursday, we took a semi-class field trip to the Science Museum.  Like most public museums in London, the Science Museum is absolutely free to visit and operates on donations.  We specifically saw The History of Medicine exhibit before having to meet up to buy train tickets.  The exhibit began with ancient medicine and worked its way through history to modern medicine.  It also had a section for non-Western medicine that is practice today.  Some of the highlights included a real human mummy, the mummified human head, and a fractured human skull.

Here is a short clip of walking through the exhibit at the Science Museum.

On our way out of the Science Museum, we had to walk through an extremely long underground tunnel that meets up with the Tube station.  As we were going through we passed a busker playing "Ring of Fire."
